Brief info

I'm a mum to two fantastic boys, my eldest is fourteen and my little one is eight. I love being a mum and that's sort of how I became an Early Years Practitioner. I came to nursery with my eldest in 2006 and although he moved on to school I never really did - there's far too much fun to be had!

I qualified at Cache Level 3 in Early Years Educator (EYE) in June 2017. I’m qualified at L3 in First Aid (including Paediatric) and I hold a food hygiene certificate. I have taken courses on safeguarding and PREVENT training, managing challenging behaviour and basic Makaton signing.

I have experience working with a wide age range of children, from Early Years to KS1 and KS2.

I am an artist and jewellery maker too and I enjoy bringing these skills to my practice, any excuse to bring out the paint and play dough, shaving cream or gloop will be taken by me! (My apologies in advance for mucky, but really happy children!)

It’s a real privilege for me to work alongside children and watch them learn through play. It’s what fun and life is all about.
